Verifying a FCC ID Number

To verify that you a device is certified to comply with Part 15 requirements:

1. Locate the FCC ID on the device.

2. Go to the FCC's ID Search page (opens in a new window).

3. Enter the first three characters of the ID on the Grantee Code line. Enter the remaining characters on the Product Code line. Click on the "Start Search" button.

Here is an example using FCC ID LOZ102032.

4. On the search results page, click on the Display Grant link.

5. The Grant will show the Part 15 catagory on the Equipment Type line and under the FCC Rule Part heading.
